Tombstones

Had the pleasure of performing Michael Pisaro's "Tombstones" last night at Oberlin's Fairchild Chapel. Performers included three recent artists in residency and several fellow students.

RWC + IGM Silent Film Duo

Percussionist/composer Ian G. McColm and I have recently recorded two original compositions to accompany short silent films from the early 20th century, both of which can be heard and viewed in full below.  We will be touring the east coast and Midwestern U.S. with this material in late May/early June.

below are two pieces I wrote in 2012 and 2013.  "wodds" was written in june-september 2012 and performed/recorded by joshua sushman at his home in los angeles.  "symptom in three parts" was written in september 2012-january 2013 and recorded live in warner concert hall at the oberlin conservatory of music on march 13th, 2013, performed by derek zinky and elizabeth cooke.
